Blue Sage (Salvia azurea) or Blue Sage, also known as "Grandma Sage". It is a herbaceous perennial plant native to central and eastern North America. It differs from its well-known relative - white sage - in a milder aroma. Blue sage leaves are thinner and burn more easily than white sage leaves. The aroma is herbaceous-floral, but less spicy. Blue sage is a purifying herb with a wide range of magical uses, used to purify spaces, objects and people, balance energies, and protect the home from evil spirits. Gives spiritual strength, helps in meditation, spiritual practices and ceremonies, and is also used as a home fragrance.
