It sucks... but, now is the perfect time to plan your 2021 trip to the land of psychedelic fun. Whether you’re looking for amazing music, spiritual experience or just a sick and trippy atmosphere, we’ve got you covered as we’ve listed for you some of the most amazing Psytrance music festivals around the world:

 

• O.Z.O.R.A

 

The O.Z.O.R.A festival was inspired and born from the 1999 solar eclipse where trance brothers and sisters had spontaneously gathered to celebrate the rare event. And since then, the festival has turned into one of the most famous in the world. The event takes place in Hungary every year. It’s literally considered one of the best music festivals in the world. O.Z.O.R.A is a real Mecca for Trance and Psychedelic music festies and has become the hub of the European Electro culture.

 

Going to O.Z.O.R.A is a massive no-brainer for any Psytrance music lover as the organizers encourage creativity, deliver visionary messages and try to bring all of us, free-spirited electro-music ravers, closer. The event is also all about sustainability and you’ll notice in the psychedelic clothing people wear over there. They wear a lot of earthy and indigenous prints.

 

Featuring some of the best Electro DJs across 6 different stages and impressive artists from fire performers to body painters, this famous and iconic festival attracts over 50,000 ravers each year. The decor is colorful and happens on a huge estate, between three hills. The landscapes span from lush forests to harsh desert. If you’re keen, there’s a number of activities and cultural workshops in nature.

• Shankra Festival

 

If you want to plan your next Psytrance festival and you’re looking for a unique experience, make sure you add Shankra Festival in Switzerland to the list. We promise you won’t regret the trip! You’ll embark on a unique and incredible four-day psychedelic experience surrounded by nature and connect with other souls who have been travelling from the corners of the earth.

 

This amazing event attracted over 5,000 visitors last year and celebrates love, nature and life below the gorgeous Swiss summer sky. Other psy ravers always enjoy this breathtaking event as it happens in a beautiful setting with mountains and a river as a backdrop.  It features some of the best artists of the Electronic music scene and also offers a lot of awesome spiritual and body healing activities such as massage and meditation. There’s also nature-related workshops. You should definitely camp there to receive nature’s healing energy. Also, don’t forget to bring your most amazing psychedelic wear and of course pack some warm clothing so you can keep dancing through the night and in the rain. 

 

 The next edition of Shankra Festival will be July 7-11, 2021. 

 

• Psychadelic Circus Festival 2021

 

This trippy festival happens every year at Göhlen in Germany. This festival can be summed up in three words; colorful freaky togetherness! This amazing and exciting event is not just about the awesome music and impressive lineups which have featured in the past Astrix, Ace Ventura or Avalon. It’s also all about creating magic together in the forest, bathing in lights, sounds and colors of a circus theme. The organizers are so creative! They always put on the best shows with a lot of artists like jugglers or fire eaters. The event welcomed 7000 visitors last year from all around the world.

 

The next edition of Psychedelic Circus Festival will be 3-7 June 2021

 

• Boom Festival

 

Boom Festival is a biennial event in Portugal and one of the biggest transformational festivals in the world. The festival is not just a music event, it’s a mindset. It’s inspired by sustainability, creativity, love and peace and celebrates ethnic communities, togetherness and healthy living. The idea behind that event is to bring us all together and share the beauty and power of the world without prejudice. The organizers encourage people to meet, vibrate, pulse and share love, peace and show deep respect for mother nature. It’s a great way to embark on a journey of self-discovery. If you’re into arts, culture and activities, they have yoga, group meditation, galleries and so much more!

To avoid overwhelming festival-goers with marketing visuals the festival is entirely funded by ticket sales.
